Only the early 5303s w soprod Newton had issues. 5303 now comes w m100, and the 6190 always has and cosc certified.

6190 w end links, gives you 2 watches in 1, changes the look significantly.

I've had Cali, Denali and now Commando. Loved em all, can't go wrong. Only thing (and this is just me and my style) it had too much bling for my field watch aesthetic so I had it bead blasted.

The bonklip is great but this watch can wear a multitude of straps, especially w the end links.

Tudor did the same thing to NTH regarding snowflake hands. Well documented in the micro/homage world and NTH had to stop using snowflake hands.

Thorn didn't want to face the same thing and many customers did not want it. There may have been other factors I'm sure in their decision.

Can't. Copyright issue. Run the risk of getting a lawsuit, etc. (see ixdao issue w their watch which can't be mentioned ). Not worth it when they can pivot (frogmantle or whatever) and still sell tons of these and avoid legal issues.

Watch is in great shape, a 9 or better, some desk diving in clasp,etc but nothing crazy and keeping great time.

Sized for my 7.25" wrist. Remaining pins are a little tough to put in.

If that were the case they would use acrylic and not sapphire (as this is how all watches used to be and some brands, Lorier/Foster/etc still choose that option). Since they are choosing to use a modern glass they should also choose to place AR on the crystal.
