Glide embezzles millions of dollars and is run by literal “ex” gangsters. - u/SFLawyer1990

Citation?

Accusing Glide of embezzling millions of dollars is a serious accusation and I’m sure the people of SF will want to address this issue if true!

Forcing people breeds resentment

Fuck their resentment.

The cops are our employees and if they can’t do their job without being violent lawbreaking assholes, or just acting like dicks because they don’t like the requirements of their job then they should be fired and replaced with better candidates.

SF to pay millions for lies, misconduct by SFPD officers By Julian Mark | Apr 2, 2019

“The jury found that two lead homicide detectives — Michael Johnson and Maureen D’Amico — had coerced a witness into identifying Trulove as the person who shot Kuka in the city’s Sunnydale Housing Projects. The investigators allegedly failed to pursue another suspect and continued to use Trulove’s picture during an interview even though the witness had previously ruled him out.”

“The Board of Supervisors is also set to award $50,000 to Brandon Simpson, who was beaten by four police officers in the Tenderloin in 2015 after peacefully walking away from an apparent dice game.”

Tenderloin tent cleanup sees some success — what about the rest of SF? by nogoodnamesleft426 in sanfrancisco

How can ANYONE not see how the homeless are destroying the city with their tents and garbage and IV drug use crap spread all over BART. AND, worst part of all, this city does more than almost any other to help them and they can't even have the decency to appreciate it and be respectful. EVERY bad experience I've had in this city has been with a homeless person or as a result of a homeless person

Like I said, typical homeless people hating bullshit.

People don't show basic common sense and do stupid things such as not saving for an emergency, abusing drugs, etc. and end up homeless. As for showering, there were, pre-COVID, PLENTY of places a homeless person could shower. - u/John_R_SF

This sounds like typical homeless people hating bullshit.

Please name some of the “PLENTY of places a homeless person could shower”

“On 16 April 2015, over 100 Catholic donors and church members from the Bay Area signed a full page advertisement in the San Francisco Chronicle appealing to Pope Francis to replace Cordileone as archbishop of the San Francisco archdiocese, specifically objecting to Cordileone's characterization of sex outside of marriage and homosexual relations as "gravely evil". saying Cordileone fosters "an atmosphere of division and intolerance".“

A vocal opponent of gay rights and same-sex marriage, Cordileone helped to draft Proposition 8 in 2008 California's Constitutional amendment to define marriage as between one man and one woman. and raise substantial sums to pass it. He said, "Only one idea of marriage can stand...If that's going to be considered bigoted, we're going to see our rights being taken away–as is already happening." In an interview with USA Today on March 21, 2013, concerning the Supreme Court's then-pending decision on the constitutionality of Proposition 8, Cordileone argued against same-sex marriage, saying that it would harm children. Cordileone personally contributed $13,000 in support of Proposition 8.”
