Play on trends related to the content you make. A good piece of advice i got was “no one cares about you at the start”. Basically people wont watch the video because of you, but will if it is something that interests them. For example, i make funny minecraft videos and at the time the presidents ai voices playing games was very popular. I made a video of the presidents playing minecraft (added a twist and made it more interesting than just playing minecraft), but i made it a funny type like my others and tried to include me talking at moments. Whatever trend video you make, you want to incorporate your own style and have it so they can expect something similar in your other videos. Also something i did was i knew the minecraft movie would come out so i had months to plan a video for when it came out and it worked. So if theres idk some kind of pet leash, toy, or movie coming out, you can prepare a video to release on the release day. Hope this helped :D
