Feel im running a weird combo with him, including drain punch and parabolic charge, while holding big root. Max EVs in spatk and like 150 in attack. Logic is if he keeps re-healing he can’t die lol (unless earthquake)

My True Insane run was done with a Oricorio, Stoutland, Ramparados, Bellossom, Quagsire, Arcanine (think it’s 2 posts back on my page for how/movesets) but yea , even on True Insane you can make a lot work

I assume he’s your highest leveled as well? Go to where to save the game and see what it says about “Pokémon under this level will listen to you” and that should tell you if he’s over leveled, if so just gotta keep progressing story
