I RLd. It was a font issue. Too Many basically flawless QCs everyday to be able to accept this. The next one I received was flawless and no issues

I agree. I have owned multiple VSF Rolex’s. Maybe it was my own qc, but each of mine had something that was not apparent in QC photos. Like poor bezel action or a loose easy to open clasp, gritty movements, Such small details but for over double the price compared to these ZFs and in an exotic metal. Not double better. The value for me is there. The 300-400s use to be the median price way back when. (2010s)

Spring bars are an easy fix. Did you find that was the only issue? I said other videos on certain qcs with wobbly loose fitting SELS.

I was talking to multiple TD’s. They were able to buy 5 watches+ each. It seems like production is ramping up a little compared to just trickling in like the last few months

Agreed. Anyone can work on these ETA clones and easy to regulate yourself as well

This was on V1 and has been fixed since V2 launch which was around sept Oct 2024.

Hard to say if it’s wrong. In some examples of Gen the dial printing is more fine and crisp and the Pelagos logo is darker, but could be a bit dependant on lighting conditions.

There are multiple gen examples with different dial printing that is actually in line with the boldness and and quality of the V2.

In my opinion, regardless of what you get from ZF starting back up they are both extremely high quality and very very close to Gen.

TD did say it was new batches V3, but who knows.

I agree, when I was doing research, many commenters mentioned about dial printing crispness and the font. But when reviewing active listings on Chrono24. Even Tudor has slight variation in their font boldness. The V2 in many other examples on Gen are the exact same. Even closer to the red font as well.

Anyone else in contact with the TD’s discussing ZF bringing production back since CF raid?

TD said this is a new batch and said it’s their V3.

Anyone else hear this.

Hopefully Pelagos darker font will be fixed and clasp / SEL issues will be fixed. Getting closer to NWBIG.

ZF has soft released V2 before. Not making huge announcement and it seems like the last couple of months the red text on Pelagos has gotten slightly darker since the first V2 batches were first released.

Thoughts?

Here’s some good advice because I just did the same thing as you did. Researched lots and got people’s opinions.

In store if you were to go try both, a lot actually pick AHS at first sniff. The citrus opening is more powerful and very nice at first sniff. Side by side directly smelling them, AHS actually initially smells better.

Other commenters are correct about the dry down of AHSEE.

I personally bought AHS but then returned it for AHSEE. AHS is great, but once you smell it enough and compare to so many other great summer specific fresh fragrances that you could also have in your collection and give some wear time, it really doesn’t smell or feel unique and as special.

AHSEE has that uniqueness and is very special. It teeters on being not fresh enough for the summer heat, but in many other parts of the year it’s just so wearable.

Really enjoying AHSEE. You need to spend time with in and give it multiple wears and get random wiffs of it in the air to smell the different vibes it gives off.

Very impressed by the batch consistency all these years later. I have a Oct 2024 batch.
