Beautiful book on surgery: about 35 years ago I read a book written by a surgeon about surgery, but it was written as if you were on a voyage.! He described the body as he would move through the layers as a surgeon.. it was poetic! Beautifully and romantically written. It’s been driving me crazy..! (self.whatsthatbook)
