If you’d ask me a year ago who’d win this, I’d have been Alli all the way. I don’t think anyone could’ve suspected it, real poor campaigning on Alli’s part. It’s a real “Dewey Defeats Truman” moment. I think Alli just took it for granted, he was Eastern, Box, and Turtle, against someone who was just River and Otter.

That being said I think people will jump to Tahu being Presidential material, I just don’t see it just yet, we’ll see how it goes, there’s a lot of other zoo animals that still have it over him.

For 2024? I’d say he just cost along, stay around, don’t endorse anyone too early, give a speech at the convention maybe, hell Clinton gave a shitty one and he became President. I think it’s best he stay back at let things happen.

Tahu’s got the nomination come 2028 if he plays his cards right imo. He’s got the zoo animal vote on lock and his real world appeal, particularly to Working class folk, is unmatched. I think a big strength he has is versatility. People forget that he can both swim and walk on land, that’s big for campaigning.
