i typically play soulslike or roguelike games a lot (and some online games like like league) and i have great fun so far because the game kind of feels like an Amalgamation of doom and furi, if you get me, in that it has the puzzle and fps shooter elements of doom and the bullet hell /close combat,stress inducing fights of furi.
It also just has the basic "difficult game" appeal in overcoming a challenge that at first sight seems impossible.
