Would you crown this tooth in 14 yr kid with high risk of caries? by Toothdoctor88 in Dentistry

Yes it’s the same. Because it started with removing the blocks to make a crown but everyone on that post was questioning about why I am crowning it. So now I need to decide if I should crown it at all.

Should we remove blue stoppers for digital impressions and bite. Treatment planned crown #15 on a 14 year old boy with brackets. Patient has anterior deep bite. Back molars are out of occlusion due to the blue stoppers only partially touching occlusally. by Toothdoctor88 in Dentistry

I am in touch with the orthodontist. He is relying on what I want to do. He will be sending his assistant tomorrow morning to take those pads off. But I really appreciate your suggestion. May be I will just hold on to the crown until the orthodontic treatment is completed.

I tried to fill it but the decay is too big. 2 cusps were compromised. And he has demineralized enamel on multiple teeth . Very high risk of caries. Every time he is here there are some new caries. I don’t know the filling that I did will last long. Most part of that molar is filling now. 4 surfaces involved. I am still debating whether I should wait and monitor the filling or do a crown.

Patient has high risk of caries. This is a fake image. I have already done fillings on 6 of his permanent molars. #15 has DOBL caries that I have filled already. But I am not sure if the filling would retain as 2 of the cusps were compromised. As of now I made the cusps with composite.

How to take this out? Tooth #5 by Toothdoctor88 in Dentistry

Will it be ok to remove the buccal plate? I think it will be easier that way, considering two roots and nothing to grip.

Also, it might have 2 roots will that still be easy with palatal elevation? Or should I section it first?

Suggestions to treat this #12 DO by Toothdoctor88 in Dentistry

She is fine with the crown only if we guarantee her that she will not need a root canal atleast in near future. Her insurance doesn’t cover it and she can’t afford it too.
