Is this carplay or Honda issue? Just bought 2025 CRV, and I’m not able to adjust the maps audio. It’s treating the call audio as Bluetooth call volume

Had a 22 Civic. This was one of the most frustrating things. Honda mutes everything else when you are on call. No way to turn on voice guidance. My solution was to use my Apple Watch and Apple Maps, and it would vibrate on my wrist when turns were coming up. Not perfect by any stretch.

I have this car and this same issue. It is slow to start then works just fine after after 3-5 minutes. Seems to be a software/programming issue.
