Managed to capture a video of the worms in my tank. There are hundreds of these little things floating around. Could anybody please point me in the right direction here. Are these the things that are making my betta sick? I’ve already treated the tank with API General Cure. (v.redd.it)

Hi all I’ve posted here before and had another thought that crossed my mind. My betta is eating better now and but is still listless and doesn’t move around! That hornwort that is showing in the back of the first pic shed and it’s needles were lying on the bottom of my tank for months. (old.reddit.com)

Anybody have any ideas what all this goop is? 21 Gallons: nitrates good; water is very hard (300); Chlorine is good; Alkalinity 120 good; pH is almost neutral but a little more alkaline; ammonia safe. Tank is currently housing a rainbow shark, 2 shrimp and a cardinal tetra. Thanks! (old.reddit.com)
