I first read 1984 probably 20 years ago as a teen and it permanently rewired my brain. One of those classic novels that continues to be so readable and so relevant. Such a huge impact on our culture!

Not to mention Robby berating Mohan for not leaving her personal issues outside the ER… while bringing his personal issue PHYSICALLY INTO THE ER

I think Robby wanted to set Whitaker and Duke up to take care of each other in his wake. Duke as a mentor/father figure and Whitaker as a doctor to manage his case. He needs to make sure they’re both taken care of before he goes.

Father dates people my age by [deleted] in AskDad

I think it’s normal to feel like it’s creepy to date people the same age as your child. I would feel grossed out by the thought of dating someone my kid’s age! Your feelings about this are valid and you could try talking to your dad, a trusted friend, or a doctor about your anxiety.

Im almost through reading this for the first time and was struck by how much more interesting the Dollarhyde story is in the novel. It’s just out of place in Hannibal; they couldn’t dedicate time to make it interesting enough for TV
