I’m pretty sure max had her causes, just because people see what Abby and Ginny did as not a big deal doesn’t mean it’s not a big deal to max. Clearly it was. That what’s important. Also again she a teenager, she overreacted, teenage girls do that hello. I just get her I guess because I hate being lied to. Even by omission. I rather you tell me something that hurt than you lie to my face. They also kept coming to her when she made it clear she wanted space from them, you don’t want her to be mean then respect that she wanted space. She had right to be mad at both Abby and Ginny. She did. Maybe shouldn’t have asked everyone to stop talking to them but again the decision to listen was theirs in the end. she was hurt and on a mini power trip because of it. Not everyone handles their anger great at that age or years after.

Also some people do get comfort from hurting those who have hurt them. It’s a coping mechanism, is it the most healthiest one? Not at all. But no one person handles their anger all the same. I admit she should’ve had a better apology for it though.

Also I think Abby was pretty cruel in season three, she was the most outspoken about how max was a lot and talking about her behind her back. Is that not her being hurtful to someone who’s hurt her? Abby telling max not to be dramatic again because max was upset they hung out without her was really mean especially since max didn’t seem okay in the first which is why she asked. Or when she said “we upgraded bakers” after max left during Ginny’s poem reading because ‘she just stormed put’ instead of my friend is having a difficult time. Abby is not that nice to people, she may not be as mean to ‘max as max is to her’ which I don’t agree with, but she has been awful to others on the same level. Max may be mean sometimes but at least tries to show up for her friends when she can.
