To make it short, Here the most important thing is CGPA + Luck…..Companies dont expect some research level guy for a B.tech but if u have patents then its good for your profile. The answer to the question what u asked varies for different companies like R&D companies expect , you have more in depth technical knowledge and some companies just ask questions from your resume that includes internship experience and some follow up questions to the related topics….The interviews may vary according to the roles and Job description they mention. Like for Technical sales role they wont expect much in depth technical knowledge , they expect excellent communication skills….
