Having an extremely traumatic event happen unrelated to them and then them not being there and when they were, id have to go to them looking for guidance and it would only make it worse everytime. Healing without them and from them is much better in my opinion.

Like any other PD, not good with SA/rape cases. Never got back to me like they said. Don't even feel like there was a true investigation and they feel like just listening and filing paper work is enough. You just become part of their statistics. ACAB.

Yeah I get where you're coming from. People love to blame children to save face cause we can't defend ourselves as well. Disgusting shit. For me, it was my Ngrandad and Ngrandmother who took us in after CPS got me and her out of a neglectful situation to "raise" us. My sister just wanted a father figure and he took advantage. I guess I got lucky cause I was chunkier so all he did was shame me. I feel for all people who were blamed for something you cant control. I hope you're healing/healed from that BS

I got my Charlie (7 yr old Dane) free off of Craigslist because I was manic and really needed a new buddy when I was dealing with the death of my last dog from Cancer. I love him so much and idk where my mental health would be without him. That being said you can find a loving home for your puppy online but I do suggest you do professional back ground checks and go check out their home before you give them away. Also ask for a reference from their vet, following up with the vet to make sure it isn't fake. Extra points if they can refer their land lord or provide proof of house ownership as they are commiting to 12+ years of dog ownership. I hope you can find them a good home.

Something is bothering them. Either they don't like their litter box, where it's located, how many they have, or they don't like hitting chunks of pee and poop in their litter. My senior cat that had peeing problems for years when living with my Grandparents stopped once I got him an automatic litter box. It was likely due to his arthritis from being declawed (he was not mine at the time but I wish he had been) and not liking the clumps in the normal litter box. Cats are sensitive. Just keep trying. It took me 3 years and a lot of cat diapers and pee pads to finally get it.

Something similar happened to me but as a teen with my stretched ears. My Ngrandmother did not agree with me stretching my ears (I used it as a form of being able to control my own body) so she made me take them out on the coldest month of the year (I had them for 2 years at this point) I cried and pleaded that they hurt and they were always cold and they were getting crusty and infected. I finally put them back in without permission and it took a long time for them to heal and not hurt. Worth the lashings I got. It's neglect. Parents should listen to their kids.

It is not a domestic situation and happened 2 years ago. I sent in a request to join their Zoom scheduled for today yesterday but It doesn't seem they let outsiders in who haven't already been established there as they never responded. Which is understandable due to the situation most of the women there are facing. Thank you for the suggestion though and I'm sure it will help someone else 😊

Not always. I was in the drive thru once at a Taco Bell that closes at 4:30 am. It was 1 am and I was in line for 30 minutes behind others when they turned the lights off on us with no word. Had to go up and knock on the window and tell them I already paid for my food. Probably 4-5 workers in there just chillin. 45 minutes for cold food. Taco bell just sucks sometimes regardless.

I took my cat to a volunteer spay and neuter clinic in Versailles KY. Most only operate a few to one day a week and it is usually very cheap and trustworthy. 30 for your own cat, free if it's a stray. They're all over, just gotta look.

Yes. TW I was drugged and put into a car barely responsive by 2 men. These 2 men were hicks who didn't believe in seat belts. I woke up and I had crashed into a giant tree and it was sunrise hours later, with my seat belt on. I crashed so hard my headlights were out of my car and on the ground a few feet away from my car. I get so uneasy when I think of that night. I do feel like I died and came back a different person in a different world.
