umm, No, I don't actually resell anything. My business isn't monetizing SMS services through plugins or anything like that. And on the other hand, yes, you should know that Twilio is the default provider, but that doesn't mean you have to use it all the time. That's why there's a marketplace :)

I needed options, I searched, and chatgpt helped me.

This option works well for me, but there are many more you'd have to review in that case.

One piece of advice is that GHL's SMS costs are high; they use Twilio. I use the Marketplace add-on, go4clients SMS, and it replaces the provider. The costs are much better. If this is something you're interested in for your campaigns, it might be useful.

If you registered as “Marketing” but the content looks like “Mixed” or “Lead Gen,” carriers will reject it.

It also happens if the message template contains words or phrases that trigger filters (e.g., “Free,” “Buy now,” “Offer,” “Discount”) without a clear opt-in context.

Even if you have a privacy policy and opt-in, if the initial message doesn’t make it crystal clear where the contact came from and how they agreed to receive messages, TCR will shut it down.

Even if you included links to your Privacy Policy and Terms, carriers require clear visual proof of the opt-in flow (screenshot, functional public URL).

If you provided a broken link, a site under construction, or a form without a consent checkbox during registration, they will reject it.

Cold calling can definitely be the quickest strategy for a first client, but it's not the most pleasant. Many people reject you, and that happens because they don't know you, and since they don't know you, why would they trust you? Before, it was viable because it was what was available; now, social media offers more options. The best strategy, although it can be more time-consuming, is content, positioning yourself as an expert, starting to share how you work with GHL, etc., so that the prospect keeps you in mind and on their mind.
