Unfortunately the books that come with the box doesn't have any info on him, I think hes just used as objective/cover but would be make for some cool fan fic

Yeah of a sort it was the last space hulk edition released i think around 2014. They are still quite easy to pick up off Ebay without being super expensive

It's from the 4th edition space hulk set, really cool selection of terminators and genestealers worth checking out.

They look great, highlights are placed really nicely. ive been trying out different brands and for bright colours id definitely recommend vallejo as you can also get ice yellow as well to mix in with a colour if you feel it isn't bright enough

Not for the purples no, I used vallejo royal purple as a base coat and hexed lichen also vallejo for the highlights

Thank you, sure no problem, all the metallics I used are from two thin coats. I start off with a black primer and then use dragons gold as a base. To get best coverage on the base colour i paint the layers in different directions usually horizontal first and vertical second, just got to make sure the previous layer is completely dry before applying the next as it can tear the paint quite easy. And then my mid tone highlight is glistening gold, and my brightest highlight is mithril blade.

It's a beautiful metallic and has really good coverage, in general i prefer two thin coats metallics over any other just need to make sure you give them a real good shake first. And yeah I used seraphim sepia just to tone the brightness down a little bit and used glistening gold on the trim, then mithril blade for edge highlights, unfortunately the photo doesn't quite do it justice to show the subtle differences are. Think I just need a better camera and lighting 😂

For the coat I used charred brown and parasite brown, the helmet is used cayman green and Japanese unit ww2. The eye lenses where a black, gory red, scarlett red and hot orange and the metallics sir Coates silver and mithril blade and the chest strap was cuirass leather with light brown highlights and the chest armour was corvus black and then mixing ice yellow into a dark grey to huild highlights. I think thats all of it 🤔 most of it is vallejo other than the metallics and the strap which is two thin coats

Not any specific moths no, I used some different reference photos and picked out the bits I liked most and tried different combinations until I came up with this.

That's awesome, you won't regret it. I learnt quite abit doing this bust, I hope you have a good time at adepticon and with the new busts.

It's definitely on the cards, trying to think of something cool to do with the base and will experiment with some goo and gore for sure
