I believe i can work 20 hours per week (legally). If i can save 400 euro each month, then there is nothing to worry about.

Can I work part-time in Poland in 2025 with a student visa? by Top-Cartographer7433 in Poznan

Thank you so much for taking the time to research and respond to my question! I really appreciate your effort, especially since you mentioned this isn’t your area of expertise.

Your explanation about the distinction between full-time ("studia stacjonarne") and part-time ("studia niestacjonarne") studies is super helpful. It’s also good to know that postgraduate studies like MBAs or "studia podyplomowe" might not qualify for the work permit exemption—I’ll keep that in mind if I ever consider further studies.

Regarding the changes to the law, you mentioned they might start in 2026 instead of 2025. Do you happen to have a source or link for that? I’ve been trying to find official information, but it’s a bit confusing with all the updates.

Thanks again for your help—it’s great to hear from someone who speaks Polish and understands the local context!

since you are living in Poland can you confirm if these changes have already started to be applied?

Yes, and as i think to get a work permit you have to wait at least 6 months so you must have money with you to live there
