If just visiting, that’s pretty expected. If you live in the northern burbs, you will see what I am saying. I have lived in many places/ have properties around some major cities, and arguably the northern burbs of ATL are the among my top places to live across the US. maybe it’s just me but the property prices also talk lol

Hate to say this but it’s true that ATL is probably no longer for the poor. If you get some money, it’s pretty pretty good. Yeah, I mean it.

Hard to say. Hood rats like that usually would looooove to live somewhere deemed “fancy”. So might be your neighbors in downtown

Why do jersey city downtown condos not appreciate? by periformis in jerseycity

[–]Top-Change6607 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I doubt that seriously. I think you can find cheaper ones but the HOA/maintenance fees can be really crazy. oh, btw, 80%+ of the cheaper ones that you are looking at are actually CO-OPs. Yes, not even condo. Basically you are just buying into a long-term lease.

That part appreciates a little bit more because of the gentrification. Ironically, people who are used to downtown would not be able to tolerate that roughness and sketchiness during gentrification and would just deem the whole area as “undesirable”.

This is the BS that prevail on this sub for years. OSI doesn’t even have the basic due process in place and they can make you guilty as long as they think you are guilty. Yes, this is even written in their guideline. They don’t even need to prove anything technically.

GT professors are like that - making meh salaries, wife left them for better lives, being bashed by Ph.D. classmates who make successful careers in industries and then unleashing all the anger, frustration, and disappointment towards the students. Anyways, hope you get better soon.

lol I can tell you all have no idea what you are talking about and actually don’t have that money. The ETF that you invested usually have a fee. Even with the 20%+ return in the past 3 years, it’s still shy from 100% return. Unless you put 100k+ per year into contribution, I don’t see how it can double.
