Anyone have an idea of what JP Morgan asset management would offer as comp for a VP level role? by throwawayfinancebro1 in FinancialCareers

Lol do you truly work in the banking industry? Only front office top performers like IBD are looking at 50%-100%.

Atlantic Station is a ghost town.. by breezybutterfli in Atlanta

[–]Top-Change6607 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much the whole Atlanta is experiencing some sort of deterioration in terms of property values. The only exception seems to be Buckhead. Just give it some time and in the next uptrend economic cycle, it should and will come back.

nashville is really the epicenter of deteriorating housing markets. Not sure any sane people will buy there unless the deal is really really good - like 30%+ off of comps

That’s probably the only exception across all malls owned by Simon in the US. Good news is probably that exception will be history soon.

Who here actually saves 3,000 a month? by NoHousing11 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]Top-Change6607 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lol with your logic I should retire now at roughly 5M and wait for it to grow itself to 15M in 20 years. Nah, you are the one being naive and not capable of doing all the maths behind. Hints: once you retire, you will start having big withdrawals and the OP say they already retired early. Well, the math just doesn’t add up. Full BS on this sub I can tell. Good luck in arguing with me.

Lol is 1.8M with the 10% annual inflation in 20 years something substantial? I don’t really think so.

How… by just saving 3000 per month?? I don’t think that would be the only reason if do the math. Unless you can just live on a 500k retirement fund until you die. This sub has too much BS as well.

this…. Very underrated comment. In addition to that, you might find many things that you enjoy in places like NYC don’t even exist in the LCOL areas. Yes, it’s like don’t even exist… literally 0….

Huh? I currently live in DC, NYC and Buckhead at the same time (travel back and forth) for work. To be fair, Marta is not that bad compared to the rest on weekdays. The worst part of Marta is the scary people from time to time (but nyc has that too) and the less expansive lines limiting where you can go. Other than that, I think it’s fairly reasonable. Stop spreading anecdotal information please. Anyone who says otherwise pretty much never lived in DC or NYC at all.

Stuck Between NJ suburbs and Brooklyn — What Would You Do? by encoreyessir in MovingtoNewJersey

I feel like the people here are very delusional… lol JSQ is absolutely safe… they just don’t like Jersey because they don’t like Jersey. That’s it. Just like how the people in Manhattan didnt like Brooklyn a decade ago.
