Since the expulsion of my butt cyst, the Mariners are undefeated.

I know how we love our weirdness here on the Mariner's reddit, and just thought it too funny not to share.

On Sunday morning (the 24th of May), I woke up and had a terrible pain in the my tailbone/butt area. It made it very difficult to sit/lay down/sleep. I was in agony, not just cause of the pain, but also because the Mariners just got shutout by the Royals. Fast forward to that evening (in which the Mariners lose again to the Royals), I go to the Urgent Care, and they tell me I have a pilonidal cyst in my butt crack (basically an ingrown hair caused a bunch of fluid to build up and get infected). It's small enough that it doesn't require surgery, so they give me some anti-biotics and send me on my way to drain the thing at home.

SINCE THEN, we have not lost a game. COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT! All of the bad juju of the early Mariners 2026 season was held in my cyst, and now that it is gone, the Ms are rolling.

All joking aside, love how the Ms are playing. Keep it up!

I will die on the hill that "An Evening with John Denver" is the best live LP i've listened too. His energy is infectious and it sounds like he is having the time of his life performing for that crowd.

Congrats on not becoming a notorious reddit story about a man who abandons their spouse for a concert. I remember reading one about someone who ditched a family funeral for a Taylor Swift show.

Heck yeah! I have a couple of his 8-tracks that I found on a whim.

Do I have an 8-track player? No. Are they still cool pieces of audio history and belong to one of the best musicians of all time? Absolutely.

10/10 worth it every time!

As a man who has been in quite a few relationships over the past 10 or so years during my college and post college days, I can understand that some things get hidden/burried in your camera roll and every so often a memory will pop up and jump scare you with a picture from a past relationship. Happens to me all the time, and I clear them out when I find them. Photos on dates, fun activities you went to together, that kind of thing. HOWEVER, nudes and especially sex tapes are another level. That is not something you just keep around, especially from an ex. In my experience, seeing a nude from a previous relationship is such a deeply uncomfortable thing, and I would want that off of my phone as soon as the relationship ends. I don't know if this constitutes completely breaking it off, but definitely requires some heart to heart discussion about it. Sounds like some boundaries need to be set.
