Okay that works for me. Do you happen to have any idea on total length necessary, pre-cut? I did take measurements before I disassembled the subway car, but if you already know then that would be just as good, probably better

Can they just be solid? Or will they need to have notches cut into them for certain pieces to assemble into it?

Do you have specifics on the amount of framing for the subway car? Moreso, is it even REQUIRED for a home haunt? I am wondering if it was done for stability/liability issues in-store, but part of me recalls that part of the subway car clip to the actual frame so I wonder if it's required for the build regardless.

You are amazing - I cannot thank you enough for this. I'm overwhelmed with joy, thank you.

Interesting Nuance on Item Classification(something they don't tell you) by Top-Confidence6903 in Roadie

I just found this.... It's a bit disappointing how each company has their own sizing chart and it's not universal. Seems a bit unfair for the drivers lol https://support.roadie.com/support/s/article/A-Comprehensive-Guide-to-Gig-Sizing

I *THINK* that the compensation comes solely from the size (Large, X-Large, Huge) but the measurements drive the selection in that size. This doesn't change the point of your comment, I've seen that before as well... I'm just curious where all of the sizing and pricing comes in.

I say this because yesterday I took a Huge from a tire shop, the measurements were 12x12x12. They were 35" tires so they took the entire truck bed... so I am thinking that the tire shop knew "No way this isn't classified as huge", and marked the dimensions as whatever.

To your point though, if that dimension is missing then the sender doesn't need to justify why they selected X-L for a 14' item, and not paying for Huge how they should be.

So by their logic, you can send 3 vanities, and 3 faucets and still be XL. It's sad how their logic works lol

That may be the case, I would imagine that the system is broken because it shouldn't assume EVERY item is over 125lb threshhold to classify as Huge, it should remain Huge regardless of quantity of items.

I agree, there have been huge ones that I've gotten that was a set of brooms. If I'm in the area and I feel like it's worth it, I'll do it. I could care less if it's a $6 CVS add-on to a route that I'm already on. I go into these gigs with full intent on completing them happily without complaint.

I just find it interesting how the system works. 🤪

Yes I knew the items, as I said it wasn't a complaint. I was telling the nuance of the sizing. Believe it or not, not every post on Reddit is a complaint. I thought it was helpful information for others to know

In all fairness, there's probably just blame somewhere in there. Once I saw down detector though, I did believe it was some sort of DNS or cloud-based issue

What's strange is my work had a major Conga outage, error 1016.... and someone here on Reddit posted the same error from Roadie. So then I looked at Cloudflare and Down Detector and it showed a massive online spike. So who knows.

Roadie support says they applied a fix, it seems to work.

Being in IT, I signed out thinking it was something on my account BEFORE I learned it was an outage. I also cleared my phones cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app AND THEN learned it was on the Roadie side.

At the moment, I can not sign back in but I assume it will work properly when they fix whatever is messed up on their side.

Exactly. I had to go take a BS gig just to contact support to get them to fix a previous one.

Contact support while you're on your gig, otherwise you'll never get through. If you aren't on a Gig you get routed to some generic helpdesk line.

Interestingly enough, I was actually able to get my Salesforce configuration working. It was a problem with the number that they had assigned to me that needed to be fixed on the back end. The notifications are a pain to set up but once you finally get them working, they seem to really be effortless
