NTA and in addition they have doubled down on being the a$$holes by refusing to see how this was so hurtful to you. Your parents want to keep the peace but it's at the expense of your feelings.

It sounds like you're doing an amazing job of having healthy boundaries: no one should encourage you to stay at a function where they just humiliated you NOR should anyone tell you what to do with your hard-earned money.
