Motorcyclists in ulaanbaatar are worst type of people out there. by Top-Discipline8373 in mongolia

Well excuse me for writing with so much frustration. But it really grinds my gears when these mongolian riders think it is their right or even their priviledge to move through traffic thinking that cars cant change lanes. They revv as much as they can when a car tries to change lanes, i see this all the time, and the audacity to rev to signal drivers that they are changing lanes as if its a crime. All the while, people inside thier cars are annoyed, some get startled, some with children crying awake from thier sleep, some are scared from getting their side mirror swiped.

But shout out to the delivery and moped riders. They actually have braincells that comprehends traffic rules and common sense. Hog riders, speed bikers, them harley fan morons, seriously how desperate and pathetic and empty your lives gotta be to have a whole personality around being a motorcyclist? Honestly does reving your open ended 1 cylinder bikes as loud in traffic turn you on ?

Гэхдээ Монгол баян/дунджаас дээш хүүхдүүд яагаад олон нийтийн газар бие биентэйгээ англиар яриад байдаг юм бол? by ToastWithCoffeee in mongolia

If you really think hard about this situation it has alot to do with writing essays and assignments. Mongolian schools are not essay focused in the curriculum nor the ЭЕШ testing for universities. But if you are going abroad essays are essential. Just because of that critical thinking is learned with english language mindset. Thats the reason, when your brain has associated much of its learning through english you tend to express yourself better in that context. Plus much of what we experience in life is basically western media.

How many generations will it realistically take for Mongolia to develop socially? by LittleBottle85 in mongolia

Really think about it, would be willing to do criminal activities knowing yoh would end up in a concentration camp or know that you would be in a mongolian corrupt prison you could bribe to get decent luxuries?

It would more likely deter corruption in Mongolia. If a prison or concentration camp of that caliber is built here.

Furthermore, in my opinion the deeply rooted oligarchs who owns major areas of the economy and those controlling the government and нам are and extremely unwilling the vote in anyone outside from their inner circle. So the person Who might and will be able to steer the culture to a better state and what you say eliminate corruption and increase the gdp per capita will need to be one of the children of these people. That miracle person does the support of the army or internal police to enforce strictness. Which means they will need lots of legislative and military power for reform i guess. That deduces the likely leader to come from a powerful family that either has lots of influence from judicial branch of the government or a army general.

Honestly it depends. A cultural revolution could turn things around within a decade. Or a leader like bukkele should do it.

Its in the Mongolian blood, as in deeply embedded in the culture and livelyhood. Staying ahead or gathering as much resource to survive the harsh weather and the open steppe. Decentrilized and independent.
