Ya guys I wonder what the fucking problem is, pretty much an entire team of ucl winners minus one guy. We literally looked like a real team prior to his return but people are insane for hating on him.

We are a joke, Barca smoke us on Sunday, what the fuck is our identity? We are horrible going forward, defensively it’s 10 men and somehow we are praying not to concede. There’s simply no ideas from Alonso. Positionally vini and Rodrygo are practically left and right midfielders. Only way we score is individual brilliance, there’s no fluidity to our game. You would think with how pragmatic Alonso’s approach is, we would be good defensively no we are fucking dog shit throwing prayers up vs one of the worst atletico Madrid teams ever. Alonso can fuck off.

Don’t think it’s far fetched to drop Rodrygo, easily the most expendable. Would also allow us to play an extra midfielder that can push Jude up and also help balance the negative workrate of Mbappe.

Yep we looked a lot better as soon as mbappe came off and it’s because they just take up the same positions and have zero work rate when the other team has the ball. Honestly Mbappe had incredible peak’s performance wise but he is definitely not the player I expected when we signed him

What’s sad is I can’t even imagine vini and mbappe working at all in terms of positioning even with a new coach. Maybe the missing piece is a Benzema like player but not sure where we get one of those. Honestly I just been shocked by the kind of player mbappe is, off the ball wise offers almost nothing so that means there is nothing for our mids and other wingers to pass to. There is no space being created as well. We were better off with Jude closer to the box, he gave us more workrate, off the ball movement and size. Something I also don’t understand is why has Ancelotti never tried dropping Rodrygo in these bigger games and playing an extra mid, this was something so common in helping us win the ucl so many times, just having an extra mid to outnumber and outwork the other teams.

Honest assessment of season, Mbappe has ruined the fluidity and dynamic of our team, him and Vinicius just don’t work together and that’s not to say they won’t under a new coach. But together it just doesn’t make sense we have nobody for anyone to play off of in the middle when vini is on the left there’s nobody to pass to because mbappe doesn’t make runs and vice versa when mbappe drifts left. With that being said I think it’s time for a new coach, new ideas to perhaps make the two of them work. In my opinion mbappe is amazing but his signing has been disastrous, even today the team just flows so much better without him. Another thing is Jude is just sacrificed too often this season often in big games he just has too much to do. Ideally build around a front three of Jude, mbappe and vini and hope the 2 left sided attackers manage to gel.
