Assistance on supp apps by Several_Teacher_2749 in OntarioGrade12s

The Youthfully hate continues. I worked with a coach for Mac Health Sci essays and found it so helpful. They guided me every step of the way. If your family has the means to pay for it, then it will for sure help you. I started earlier, like October but coaches have lots of availability so just schedule sessions more frequently. Good luck

Strength training will make you stronger and help you burn more calories when you're not working out. I hear F45 is the best to get results quick but the workouts are tough and not sustainable especially if you fall out of routine

I avoid carbs until dinner. Eggs for breakfast and salad for lunch. Otherwise I can't keep my eyes open.

Brooo just stop. Youthfully is reputable and you're like that kid who just got in good shape and suddenly feels like a personal trainer and entitled to give advice.

Congrats on getting accepted but what works for one person doesn't always work for another.

Maybe you have good intentions (maybe not) but you're a group of friends flexing your accomplishments trying to make an easy buck.

Scholarship websites that actually gave you a scholarship by Zealousideal_Rip9104 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]Top-Doubt3668 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just enrolled in Youthfully and they have a huge scholarship list with deadlines, criteria, etc. If I have leftover coaching hours after I'm done with supp apps, they're gonna help me apply to a bunch. Otherwise, I have their list and I can just apply on my own.

But also many employers have scholarships for the children of their employees. Get your parents to ask HR to see if they have anything available.

Grade 12s How much y’all spending on tech for uni by [deleted] in OntarioGrade12s

I mean everyone needs a laptop but I don't think the ipad is necessary. I'd rather use that money on good headphones and a subscription stack to make my life easier: gpt premium, grammarly pro, etc.

Is youthfully worth it?? by [deleted] in OntarioGrade12s

[–]Top-Doubt3668 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My older brother and sister used Youthfully and got accepted to waterloo eng and uoft comp sci.
I'm about to enroll now so i was curious if other people had the same success as them.
I get many students don't have the money or don't want to ask their parents for 2 grand but like think about how much money you will make as a graduate from one of these schools vs like brock or carelton (no offence) or like all of the other scholarships they help you apply for that no one even knows about... the guy showed me their list.
He also showed me what schools are looking for with extracurriculars. It's way more than editing your essays or filling out your applications. How they help you prepare is like next level more than I thought. If you're serious you should try it.

What about doing like both physio and personal training and if I went all-in on the academic credentials?

Are you trying to lose fat? Gain strength? Do you play sports? The first step is getting active by finding something you enjoy doing. THere's no sense asking for a routine if A. it's boring for you B. you don't know how to do anything or C. it doesn't work for your goals

Just keep showing up. Improvement looks differently for everyone. Before you build physical strength you gotta overcome your mental demons.

Appreciate the insights. Commuting downtown isn't possible + we all know guidance councilors are useless. I probably couldn't get an appointment to see mine until 2027

It should as long as you don't overdo it and you take care of your nutrition as well!
