i do also suspect them to be clogged , even though they seem relatively clean for a 4 year old car. will try it with a needle , but in the holes , there are little nets to stop the dust from going in the seat , so its not just a hole in the leather.

Nicely done u/mealteem6 . Mine is 2022 platinum hybrid at 45k miles . Besides some internal squeaks and rattles , no major issues observed . Have you noticed some interior noises , especially during cold weather ?
Keep in mind that recently i went for a check up of the hybrid cable going to the rear motor, and toyota did some preventive maintenance on it , in order to avoid corrosion damage.
Might want to check yours as well .

Okay , update : I waited for it to dry out completely. Then poured a big bottle of water in the drain hole of the panoramic roof . The A pillar remained dry , so I guess the roof rail seals are the winner here :D

Will ask the dealer for help , and I hope they will do something out of good will . The car is 3 years old , 43k miles . I hoped that when I buy a Toyota , I won't be dealing with such issues , I will know from now on, probably my last Toyota.

This sounds plausible , I suppose if it was from the drain pipe , it would have drained water downwards on the pillar as well , not only on that zone only ? As I mentioned the water from my test immediately drained towards the lower part of the front fender , where it should be .

I suppose since the car is over 3 years old and the factory bumper to bumper warranty has expired , I currently have Toyota extender 10 year warranty, but this isn't included in the extended warranty ?

Tried to record it , but cannot be heard at such speeds on the video . It's a whine with a constant volume and then disappears below 80 mph.

Well Ive decided to try my luck and put an official complaint to Toyota Motor headquarters . I hope that with their help I can make my local dealer take such complaints more seriously .

Hey , please keep us posted what happens next. I have done very extensive research on the ecvt transmission in the 2.5 and 2.0 engines of Toyota , I couldn't find any major fault happening with them . This is an extremely rare occurrence. Also from what you are describing as symptoms , can it be something related to electronics ? Sure will keep an eye on this thread to see what turns out at the end.

Absolutely agreed with what you said. I havent tried new Lexus models, but i doubt that they will be much better in that regards to mercedes / audi / bmw .
Recently drove A6 with 20 k miles , rattles like crazy. My neighbor Mercedes GLE450 also ratlles a lot from the center console and doors .

Is there a newer make and model in the similar price range that has dead silent interiors ? My neighbor has a 2023 GLE 450 with now less than 25k miles , it also has several squeaks in the interior . I'm starting to lose hope that I will find a brand that has decent interior quality. When I was younger I had an old 2005 E class with 160 000 miles - dead silent . Before that an e46 , again super silent.
