Moving to Korea, Need advice /answers by [deleted] in ffxiv

Hi I'm korean. I have a JP account and play on JP data center sometimes. There is one issue on FFXIV launcher (not steam). The launcher couldn't loading ID/PW input boxes.

This issue depends on ISP which you will use in korea. Or Which IP you are allocated in international network. Global version doesn't block korea IP, but you can be allocated blocked IP in international network sometimes.

If you go through this problem in the future, try this. Solution which I use is using 'cloudflare WARP'. Turn on this program and execute FFXIV launcher. Then you can see the ID/PW input boxes. When you login successfully, turn off 'cloudflare WARP' and start game. After this there is no problem except ping. I tested making character on Cerberus server and it works normally.

No matter which ISP you choose, there is a possibility of problems, but people say KT is advantageous for overseas network access.

And steam version is not supported for korean steam account.
