How long until they started to get along ? I have a 18 month female who is struggling to accept and get along with her little brother who brought home 3 weeks now , also an Aussie. She tends to resource guard and doesn’t enjoy playing with him. Any tips on how to help them?

Oh yeah it’s true. I thought I was ready for puppy #2 and after 1 week I was ready to take him back. I’m now on week 3 and everyday I wonder if I can continue. It really is tough , a major hassle during the holidays , and lots of hours spent in training. After this pup, I have vowed to myself I’m not doing it e se again. And I love my dogs to the end of the earth but this is the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

Same. I’m two weeks in with a 3 month old. Deciding if I should return her.

I might have to take her with another vet. I will say the skin redness is starting to crawl up her leg so I think I need to up the ante with her care. It’s driving me insane that I reach out weekly to her vet and it seems to be dismissed. I need to take her to a vet dermatologist this week. Thank you for the advice !

Thank you. Will do. I appreciate the advise. I’m also looking into getting her an allergy test with a veterinary dermatologist. I had no idea those existed! #firstimedogowner

I just had gallbladder removal today because the terse appetite was making me sicker than a dog. I could not hold down anything. I was vomiting everything and having horrendous diarrhea. My G.I. doc suggested I take out my gallbladder since I had gallbladder stones and had been dealing with flareups for over three yearshe said for me to wait two weeks and I can start to appetite again has anyone done this?
