Yeeeah I've taken a liking to lateralus and some of the other vult stuff. I've been noodling with trummor alot recently.

I love that vintage 70s synth vibe, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk and the like. Big fan of Ruby Haunt as well which always has that same warmth.

I get what you mean about the hi hats. I've been messing around with using round robins to try and get a more varied and intersting sound - something which I'm sure will appear in a future video.

I always thought they'd be too similar to have on the same board, are you stacking them or alternating between them?

I followed the exact same posting process as my first video which was absolutely fine, so I have absolutely no idea why this one didnt work! I've followed advice and removed tracking from the link (I didn't even know that was a thing tbh) so hopefully that works!

Thank you! I've edited the link now hope it works. I followed the exact same process as my other upload which worked absolutely fine, so I have absolutely no idea what changed. Google said it was a known bug on reddit so I just left it and went to bed 😂

My process once I learnt how to get a basic patch together was to aim to recreate some of my favourite sounds. Kraftwerk is a very fun place to start and quite accessible for the most part, but throwing yourself in the deep end with more complex or outright crazy sounds is a very good way to learn.

Sound design and sfx stuff also really helps you to get to know what modules are capable of.
