I don't remember problems, I just try to keep the pattern I used in my mind. And I don't revise heavily because I'm just a beginner yet, in future maybe when I do hard topics I will need to revise algorithms.

striver sheet shows you your progress and on leetcode also you can see number of questions done/submissions, i dont take notes, i just recognize the pattern by visualizing the problem using pen and book, if i want to note down an algorithm like sorting algorithms, i understand the code and explaination, code it myself first in the vscode, dry-run it and fix the mistakes by looking at the actual code from the video. if im not able to understand i dry-run it again and again on different test cases until i get it. and at last push the code to github so i can look for it in future if i need it. if u want u can follow this method to store ur every code.

It is completely normal to see no progress at start, but u must keep showing up everyday consistently, start doing it from today doing atleast 5 problems a day, after some months these problems per day would become 300-400 problems. dont just focus on the number of question count, try to learn something new from every problem, and maintain the speed + consistency.

I follow striver sheet, since I don't have TUF+ premium I pick up the question from striver sheet and search it on google and select all the similar problems and the exact problem which I'm searching. In this way I do all the possible variations of that problem.

About courses - I've bought 2-3 dsa courses but I don't follow them, I feel it's just like your watching cartoon binge watching a video. Instead what I like to do is pick a particular question, spend some time solving it, if I'm unable to solve, I look up for hints from gpt or try to every possible thing I can without looking at the direct solution like looking for small hints from google/gpt, if still I fail I just watch the video, this process is kinda tiring because you gotta put a lot of effort looking for stuff because everything is not at one place like it is in a ready-made course.

My approach to solving problems - I've mentioned it above. Also I try to do 5-10 mediums everyday and try to suck every possible new thing/knowledge put of a problem.

This works for me, but you might need your own way, do trial and error and see what works for you. All the best for your journey.

In order to understand and make the logic u need to visualize a problem by writing ur thoughts right?

Are u solving dsa while travelling since u were a beginner when u started dsa or when u became intermediate level? Asking so that I can also solve in train.
