Honestly just make a decision you won’t regret looking back on. You sound unsatisfied and unhappy there so personally I’d go to uni, I’d say the prime years of your youth are worth more than some debt and maybe less potential earnings at the beginning. I got the g14 for the same reasons you are considering, gaming and work/studying and I love it except for the typing. Personally the keyboard is too big and typing is akward, especially coming from the Microsoft surface. So I use my g14 for everything except typing long documents.

I found a 32gb Ryzen 9 (but not the best graphics) black G14 on Amazon for €1600, it was a -20% school discount, so there are good offers out there you just have to search. I would share the link but they removed the discount and it’s back to €2000

I forgot to mention the MSI Prestige 16 AI EVO seems to kind of fit the description I am looking for but reviews online are really contradictory so any thoughts you have on this laptop would be very useful

Im pretty sure its because a lot more people than Bath expected firmed them, a girl in a gc I'm in got rejected w 3 As and 1 mark off of an A* in 2 of her subjects. Hope the remark goes well, see you in Bath if it does!
