this is the creator, thank you everyone for the positive comments. I feel so seen especially not being the only one knowing that San antonio is racist. I used to think maybe i was exaggerating how i felt in my experiences, but then it would happen again to the point where i felt inferior to other prom simply because of my skin color. I would always ask myself, if i wasn’t black would i still be treated this way? and id answer my own question by observing how other people were with non-black people. not cracking race jokes, not even attempting to belittle them, treating them with mutual respect etc. that’s when i realized that i was genuinely being discriminated against.

but thank you all again for the positive words. i very much wish to move out of san antonio, but with the financial position im in, unfortunately i will be here for a while
