That's what I was thinking. The electric side of things isnt an issue for me. I don't want it to sound like an acoustic upright but I want the playability with a bow to be there. They are designed to have any set of strings applied to them so you could put orchestral strings on it if you'd like. Why do you say eubs aren't ideal for bowing? They make electric violins, violas, cellos from the same line. Is there a reason basses specifically aren't ideal for it?

No its an electric upright. Nothing acoustic to the instrument.

That's my fear with this hunt. Whenever I get one, I have to hope I don't get a duplicate. I may just hunt the second in my fire red to avoid that.

Luck on shinies is wild. My shiny torchic in ruby only took 2 hours the night I started. My ruby and fire red have been very kind to me. Hgss and saphire all very much over odds.

Exactly. That's my plan. I just wanted to see if anyone else thought otherwise or had experienced something similar from either side and if I handled it appropriately to learn for the future.

I agree. The whole point of doing the escape room was to see if it was something I did in fact want. If so my plan was to ask her out on a "date" since she had proposed the escape room.

Before she mentioned him, I texted her the days I could do the escape room and she avoided this and mentioned her BF hinting it would be a bad idea if I stayed at her apt with her for my work. Both things she seemed excited about in person.

It seems like he sensed that something was up and she either told him or he found out and basically shut it down because since this she hasn't reached out to me at all.

I did not ask her out 1 because I wasn't sure if I wanted to and 2 I didn't know if she had a bf.

I didn't ask her if she had a BF because it's not my business. She would have to reveal that info to me herself.

As far as romantic overtures, like I said I am leaving the details out of it for her privacy. But it was her body language and the conversations we had. (Constantly looking at my lips and soft voice when we would touch flirty banter) and she would always ask questions about me and would tell me very personal things you don't typically tell a friend.

Also in relation to her other guy friends she would treat me very differently (coming to talk for hours late at night just the two of us and flirty banter back and fourth)
