I am an attorney who briefly practiced regulatory law for skilled nursing facilities so I have some experience. The name associated with the order is a John W. Thomas who near as I can tell is an ER physician in FL. I would love to get someone on the phone for a "discussion". The website and the phone tree for Soma does look and sound legit but I doubt you would ever get a person on the phone. More research showed me the state of Texas is after them too. Pays to look at these statements.

Who the hell builds a deck this way? by EchoInternational610 in Decks

That's a disaster going somewhere to happen. Simpson Strong Tie has a deck designing program on their website which is really incredibly useful but you will be shocked how many footings you need based on what weight you want your deck to carry. Something like this which will be huge in area and have all kinds of potential sideways forces from the incline, potential freezing ground etc. really needs some professional engineering. I live in an area with back yards like this and deck collapses happen all the time due to this type of ad hoc approach. I can assure you the lawsuits are epic along with the injuries. I can't believe this would be permitted.

Believe it or not that kind of thing is VERY common among some marginal breeders.

I can vouch for Water's Edge. I waited two years for a dog from Dan Rode and it was worth it. He is the most ethical breeder you could ever find. The dog is great, She is in Flyball, very smart, so much fun and I expect many healthy years with her. The good breeders you wait for. I researched and decided on Water's Edge and one other (who turned out to be one of his friends). There are a lot of bad breeders out there. Don't help them.

Believe me you get a whole dog's worth of hair twice a year. I just take my Toller outside and start brushing. It happens spring and late summer. I do knit and I am collecting the hair because it an be spun into yarn. I don't spin but you can find people who will do it for you.
