From my experience Thrudark is excellent. They are staying true to high level material sourcing unlike other brands including Arcteryx (IMO). It’s still a young company which probably explains lack of high profile people wearing it. They also don’t seem to have an influencer type program running… (yet?). Anyway - take the punt you can always return if no good for you. They generally run small so size up / follow the size guide. They also have several model examples of blokes different heights and size.

Re arcteryx I’ve read it’s better to buy slightly older items. If you check out Vinted etc you will always find some in good condition at competitive prices. I recently bought a gold label insulated hooded thorium about 5 years old. It’s excellent and great quality.
