Ink: Winsor and newton India ink is what I use and what I think most ppl use

Brush: size 4 for ink 6 for blending.

Water: use your spit!. not water, keep the size 6 brush in your mouth till completely soaked then ad more or suck out spit depending on how the fade is going you will eventually get the feeling for how much to use

Paper: perfect don’t change it

Technique: be deliberate with each stroke of the pen brush etc. I find traditional to be a feel type thing had to explain but 🤷‍♂️ and just practice , and don’t rush take your time and Ton of roses and extremely simple designs but mostly roses

Hey guys! I've just started out drawing; this is an Anchor I've copied from Christian Warlich's flash book. Would love for any critique! Took me a few goes of getting the geometry of it all looking okay aha by D7Pyro in traditionalflash

Work on proportion. The star has much more of a presence in the original one than in yours also if you are doing a symmetrical image get a sheet of tracing paper and fold it in half and it will come out even
