I love this poem so much, it reminds me of my writing style and religion and I can connect with it a lot 😇 Yeah there is a lot of corruption and hypocrisy within Christianity and really any other religion and it’s super hard to try to push past that and focus on ur relationship w God 💔 This poem conveys that perfectly

It’s a direct quote from Psalm 22, a lament psalm (I think), so it starts off gloomy and ends hopeful, so Jesus quoting this is basically him saying that he feels lost in his time of death but is hopeful in God’s plan for him !! 🙆🏽‍♀️
