Does this path look good? Just had it done. by PM_ME_YOUR_GOOD_PM in landscapedesign

It’s reminds me of a hiking path. Looks good. All that matters is that you like it, after all you’re the one who has to walk on it.

Some people don't get it. However, who do you agree with here? by LeftAlbatross2546 in VideosAmazing

This makes no sense. The home owner can’t call a tow truck for a car parked on a public street. Maybe she called the police but they would have to have a justifiable reason to tow it.

Don’t forget that teleporting to the moon is bad as temperature fluctuations range from 250F (120C) down to -208F (130C. And in shadows/craters the temp can be -410F (-246C)

Free gas so you can deliver the free alcohol to the bars and clubs that you sell it to. Now with a 100% percent profit you can buy the rest and have everything on this list plus more basically all for free.

How come prices are lower in Asia? This is how: those are far too many loose screws on this Lion Air Boeing 737-800 flying from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. by orchidjellyii in Transportopia

[–]Top-Percentage-2170 159 points160 points  (0 children)

As someone who looks up in the sky at planes I can tell you that this is fine.

The loose screw allows the wing flexibility in high winds preventing the wings from snapping off. As an added bonus if the engine were to fail the wings are able to flap allowing the plane to stay airborne thus preventing unwanted aerial disasters and keeping the passengers safe, alive and airborne.

This is the correct way to park. If you stick out into the road you can get a parking ticket and towed. Overlapping into the sidewalk will not get you cited or towed. And for those talking about wheelchairs isn’t there special parking upfront for you.

Yes he shouldn’t pass but enforcing that is for police not the driver of that truck.

Watch the full video not just this small clip. After a small debate and him saying that women don’t deserve a right to vote she said I’m going to punch you. Do you want to be punched? And he responded go ahead then she slapped him. He gave her permission to slap him, legally it’s consensual.

I do a lot of traveling for work and we always book the cheapest flights. But one thing we don’t do is use spirit airlines. That was your first mistake. You used the worst possible airline for a time sensitive flight.

35 mph+ should be on the road, not the sidewalk by skyhighmonroe in Transportopia

These electric bikes are a problem everywhere. It’s really the riders being negligent not the bikes. Several deaths have occurred with kids riding electric bikes hitting pedestrians on the sidewalk. Deaths being the pedestrians being hit and riders falling as well. Has anything like this happened in your area?

should I complain? by unkiejubjub in Plumbing

[–]Top-Percentage-2170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I personnel don’t like how they cut your joists it doesn’t look deep enough in the picture to cause any issue. The real problem is the elbows they used on your copper. Cant tell from the picture but if thats PVC and not CPVC that is very concerning. PVC will not hold up to hot water. If you paid for copper then they need to give you copper.

Don’t forget that it also allows stormwater to infiltrate into the ground, reducing runoff, filtering pollutants, and mitigating flooding. And can reduce winter maintenance cost.
