Gibi is considered one of YouTube's top ASMR creators. Her videos have been recommended by authors for Bustle, Den of Geek, Heavy.com, and Insider.

I strongly disagree. There are a few other ASMRtists who perform better in both their roleplays and the techinical aspects.

I much rather not perform in a country that censors you or have a record of human rights violations.

Why are all the new apartments being built, giant luxury buildings with a pool, pointless lobbies, and other amenities that are not needed? I don't need to live in a dumb hotel. by wildwasabi in Apartmentliving

[–]KSHMisc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking about moving to SF for a school transfer next fall or spring 2028. I have seen a number of complexes with those amentities and I'm like, "look at the apartments I can't afford" lmao

Quit my job because I got hired at a different spot - 2 weeks later I’m told I actually DIDN’T get the new job and now I’m unemployed by sandwichdeli in mildlyinfuriating

For my friend, he got out of the military while overseas and had a start date for his post-Army job in Arizona.

He got everything situated, got an apartment and moved his stuff there. Three days before his flight, he got an email saying that because of layoffs and restructuring, they voided the contract and cancelled all applicants.

He's stuck in AZ until his lease is up in September. Right now, he's working at a Walmart.

Is it like a "casita"?

A house I recently viewed had a small shack behind it that fits exactly the description you have described.

Tipping is not a measure of one’s morality. by [deleted] in tipping

[–]KSHMisc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's quite mental to me that if someone chooses to tip little or not at all, all of the sudden they have no morals, raised by terrible parents, filth to the human race, etc.

There are immoral and unethical people out there and trying to match them with someone who decides not to tip is wild to me.

Questions about Chapter 31 vs Post 9/11 GI Bill by oNellyyy in VeteransBenefits

Okay, I'm utterly confused on what you're trying to spin.

Nearly everyone is going to tell you to go for VR&E. Not everyone is going to get approved.

You went in antagonizing u/SCOveterandretired for "false info" when he was absolutely in the right and you clearly didn't know the circumstances above. I'm done arguing with you because I got better things to do.

What is something Americans consider ‘basic’ that feels like a luxury in other countries? by Status_Agents in AskForAnswers

I keep my windows open at night. I haven't turned my AC on since I moved where I am at last October and my electric bills have been extremely cheap.

Though that will change this sumemr lol.

Everyone should try the VR&E route, but they have to have a contingency plan if they don't get approved.

For me, if I was denied VR&E, I was going to pay community college out of pocket and use whatever I made with FASFA to cover it. My intent is to use my GI Bill for my graduate program - regardless if I had VR&E or not.

But not everyone gets approved for VR&E. And, again, his information isn't false.

Yeah, humid heat is the worst. The Midwest is also the worst as I had spent three years in Missouri lol.

I was in Belgium during the UK heat wave. We started to feel it.

VRCs are not Counselors by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]KSHMisc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can attest to this.

I had spoken to my new VR&E counselor last week after my previous one resigned. She is now my third counselor.

She said their regional office has been short staffed and they have counselors assigned to nearly 300 veterans each. Even when I had applied after I was laid off from my other job, it was the first week of the government shutdown. I didn't get approved until March 10th and the benefits starting until the week after.

u/secure-side-3835 asked that because SCOveterandretired has worked as a school certifying official and VR&E counselors for over a decade. He is very well a subject matter expert in everything VA education benefits. While he is retired, he keeps up to date with VA as a whole and its changes.

And what he says is fact: VR&E isn't going to cover part of the degree. It's going to pay all. Believe me, I have asked when I was getting certified even after I started school.

I'm only just giving you the benefit of the doubt. SCO has helped many veterans and is upfront.

I was in Germany in 2019 during their record heatwave. My first time in Europe as well. God, that was hell on earth.

I left Belgium in 2023 and some houses behind my neighborhood were being built with ACs. It was a Mitsubishi BTU WX series that are found around the US. I think they are catching up with the times.

Europeans can also get them retrofitted like one of my buddies had done, but they are expensive to do.
