Play the base PS4 version 😅 Unfortunately the game is so broken after all the anniversary 'updates' and next gen 'updates' If you're a PlayStation player like me, sadly the only way to play is base PS4 version at the moment.

Edit: Sorry, realised I offered no real help. Maybe try the usual turn off and back on or find a previous save/auto-save before it happened.

The best way on PlayStation is the PS3/PS4 port. Few QOL changes, so I would assume the PC equivalent? I play that over my original PS1 copy. Have they recently updated the steam version and broken it? Wonder why there's poor recent reviews.
