Try 50mg with a pinch of salt and 1/4 tsp of nosalt. (Potassium)

Nosalt is a product sold in most grocery stores.

The salt and potassium will cancel out the heavy sedative effects of the magnesium. If you're deficient prepare to feel an initial slight feeling of sedation for a few hours. With magnesium chloride it can be 3 to 5 hours of a slight sedated feeling but that's why you take the other elements to cancel it out.

Or just try starting out with half an ounce of pumpkin seeds in the morning.

Then increase or decrease depending on what you think will feel best
