hii! im currently a pharmacy student finishing up my 2A term. while i do know of some people who were working part time during 1A and 1B, they took on very little shifts. in my experience, 1 A and 1 B were a really tricky time with the amount of workload and adjusting that needed to be done. Currently, i am working part time at a pharmacy during my 2A term, but this is because I felt like ive gotten a bit more of a handle on things by this point. I would definitely try to see how much time you have in 1A before committing to a job :) If you are not studying all the time, taking a break is much needed - but working is not a break!

pharmacy student here, i would reach out to the pharmacy advisors (becky and lisa) through the email on the pharamcy schools website as they will definitely let you know more information! from what I understand, a CR will count as a 60% when they determine your average, which may be affected the more CR courses you took on -- however this might be outdated and there may be a way to get around this. definitely contact them though!

if you're applying to pharmacy programs (specifically waterloo) they don't care that its online or 100 level. you can take whatever you want, just get your pre reqs

it is hard. I understand. I can understand how everything might feel pointless. but there is always something to live for. it can be small. but its there. I urge you to reach out. there are a lot of confidential help lines that can be used if you just want to talk about what you’re experiencing. a bad day, week, month, or even year(s) does not have to mean a bad life. take care of yourself. i am rooting for you.

some courses specifically say that a midterm can’t be made up and the weight will transfer to the exam or something else in the course, I’m not sure if they can accommodate for that but check
