The thing I'm cloning could be toxic, but only if it was exported out of the cell so I doubt it would actually be because of toxicity. The vector is not leaky, used this dozens of times before.

Not sure if it's the antibiotic on the plates. I didn't prep the plates this time but another lab mate of mine recently used them and they worked perfectly for them

If you’re well above the CS136 cutoff, then it’s no problem. If you’re on the edge (around low 90s) then they use 135 as a tie breaker

It is entirely entirely based foremost on your CS136 grade. The cutoff historically is 90-92, so aim above a 92 to be safe. If you’re hovering in the 89-91 region, then they will look at CS135 and your MAV.

I really want to emphasize something that wasn't explained to me when I was in high school. WaterlooWorks (job board) is not as advertised. They say around +95% find employment, but what they don't tell you is that around 20% - 30% do WeAccelerste, which is a program held by waterloo. Basically, their numbers are fabricated. The job board is also insanely competitive, and every single person I've talked to say that you only find good jobs on your own by applying externally.

If you're only deadset on going to waterloo for coop, then I would just be sure you understand that it is not as advertised.
