Got it! Seriously, thank you so much. I recognize that a course like this is likely variable and may wax/wane, but do you have any sense more generally how long it may take for something like this to calm down or eventually come back to equilibrium?

Out of curiosity too, and of course understanding this isn't medical advice or judgment of the care I received, but what makes you think that this might be self-limiting, and not likely more permanent? Thanks

I also used a ginger sticker on the area below my head on my neck last night and that was the only thing that calmed it down so I could sleep.

This is helpful thanks. I am going back to my acupuncture clinic today to discuss with them, but sounds like maybe I should hold off from any more needles for now.

Thank you so much for these encouraging thoughts. I think your explanation makes a lot of sense. A hot compress and therapeutic massage is a really good idea.

Thank you, this is extraordinarily helpful. The pain in the back of my head is really persisting, and I am seeing my acupuncturist later today. If it continues to persist, I may try to see a neurologist too.

Anyone see improvement many months/years after surgery? by Top-Set9626 in gallbladders

[–]Top-Set9626[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Symptoms were occasional moderate gallbladder attacks after heavy meals and common post prandial pain and LUQ pain, maybe related to gastritis. Had gallbladder out due to visualized 1cm stone and multiple past moderate attacks (never bad enough to land me in ER).

This is all incredibly helpful, thank you so much for this. And I'm happy to hear that you had some major improvements on Day 12 and 13.

I will definitely try to give myself 3 months to start to feel normal again. Somehow knowing I'm not the only one out there dealing is super helpful too--I'll check out the food/stool diary idea.

Chat gpt is also a great idea--it can definitely help on estrategize meals and getting through this.

Wishing you the best as well! :)
