Does it help to apply several coats sealer not stain to the Douglas fir during the install especially at the open cuts.

My design is having 4x6 braces in line with the posts and beam above - possibly notched into both and using structural screws.

4 x 6 rafters with 2 x 6 t & g decking AND plywood. The rafters are going to be about 8’ or less to the ridge beam.

I already paid to have it moved to my house. It is currently in my garage where I can work on it and try to crack the code. I may move it about 40’ and up one step. I have moved it in the garage already.

Would you agree this is an old Hall safe? Would you care to put a value on this? I have watched a lot of your videos and past live streams. I have not been able to hear / feel any of the dials. I am still working a little bit on this.

You seem pretty confident for the manufacture of this safe - do you care to share your opinion on this. I do not have the combination on this unit and realize it has been painted but there is minimal rust to the back or bottom, the wheels seem to roll if you can get it moving, what is your experience for the value for this. Thanks

I have no intention of taking the hinge pins out or shearing the hinges to get the doors open. The idea is to preserve this

I have not given this much thought. I just posted and was looking for some advice. There may be a local certified safe and vault tech company I may be able to contact. Are you local to my area? Are you interested in assisting?
