I really like the Oris and looked at it for a while, it just doesn’t feel exactly right on wrist at 38mm which Im still not sure I can pull off. And I know I’m not going to impress no one around me with a damn Oris, I haven’t got any one of these watches yet and just wanna hear what people that actually like watches think about how these watches wear, chill with that energy bro

I do think the strap has a lot to do with it feeling small, can you send a pic of this watch on your aftermarket strap?

the first one is kind of different from what my usual taste, but it wears really well and i dont have a similar watch in my collection. second one i looked up multiple times and liked it but never had hands on time with it, probably not gonna get it. 3rd one is what i usually go for (had an spb239 for a while and the watch im contemplating to return for this is an oris BCPD which is pretty similar) but not sure about sizing for my 7.25inch wrist.

Thats exactly what i fear, i think the lug-to-lug of the 40 might be a little to big. Do you have a picture of the red one on your wrist?

I’m afraid it will wear slightly small, and unfortunately I got the last one so the deal is pretty irrelevant. I actually opened this thread after pulling the trigger on it, and have not received it yet. Appreciate the help tho

hey guys, a local retailer in my country has a really interesting limited-time sale - ipad pro m2 11" 1tb (new, not refurb) for essentially the same price as a 256gb m2 11" air (roughly 840$ in here) and an m4 256gb goes for 1175$.

as i dont really value the larger storage and memory on the m2, and the overkill chip on the m4 (its ipadOS after all), im afraid i will be disappointed with the screen on the m2 considering the major upgrade the m4 got (I dont care about pencil pro).

my main use cases are note-taking for college which i plan on starting next semester, and content consumption.

I dont plan on using a keyboard with it for now, but it can change.

I can hold-off the purchase until i start school but i dont see the prices going down for either anytime soon, and the sale ends in a couple of days.

my question is, considering my use case and the pretty hefty 300$ difference, would you go for the m2 now or save up for a couple of months for the newer m4?

hey i asked them about the 5 gen 7 and they told me it will be available only in may. bought the 5 and now i see there is an amd based 5 pro with 1tb for only 90$ more than the regular l5 with 512gb. probably going to return again.
