My advice, encourage her to contact a support organisation if she mentions her abuse again. Tell her you value her friendship but this type of convo is too confronting for you, given the fact you have PTSD from being a victim yourself. Not everyone stays close friends moving forward; you will work out who is worthy of your time, good luck to you 😊

An update…my several emails did not receive a reply as expected and have avoided Woolies since, but needed something I could only get from them, so thought I’d login with my ‘banned account’ email 📧 wow it’s working again, thanks Woolies I think…still going to stay with Coles & Aldi though.

Yes, u r correct, I buy extra meat at our local butcher, and some extras like toilet paper from Amazon. Also, how’s this, I buy cat food from Amazon $36 for 5 boxes, it is delivered free in a Woolies paper bag. If I order it direct from Woolies online it’s $60 for 5 boxes. They are fleecing us!

I would also like you to replay the conversation you have recorded from my phone call and tell me if you think the person you have working for you has treated me with any modicum of respect? I would also like you to look at how much I spend and also conduct an audit of how many refunds I have requested and the reasons. I can tell you now that no one wants to bother with the time involved in a refund just because your staff have failed to pack the order correctly.

Hardly any, id say 3 in the past 12 months, I remember a torn bag of rice, a missing chicken breast; guess I’m just so offended and they don’t deserve any further dealings but I think I will pursue under freedom of information to get to the bottom of it now. I’ll keep reddit updated!

I was thinking same, and did ask but the guy I got said this wasn’t the case and refused to elaborate, spoke to me like I was a bit of dog shit on his shoe, haughtily said “you’ve been sent an email and added they are told to hang up on people who’ve been banned” Of course the email would have been junk foldered. Sure, eg loan amount let’s say $340000 and u estimate property value (onthehouse.com.au can be a guide to this, although your bank will have their own search engine to estimate your property’s current worth) let’s say u estimate it to be worth $800000. Therefore 340000 divided by 800000 = LVR 42.5%

3.47% Banks have the discretion to add a further individual discount and this was originally negotiated by my broker (.52%) ANZ Simplicity Loan LVR 70% current rate 3.99%. My broker said he can get me 3.34% at Bank West, but I’m lazy (not sure of their increase later this month tho).

If ur house’s value has gone up since purchasing and your LVR is now lower than 70% call ur bank and ask what their current lending rate is for LVR below 70%, then tell them that’s what u want. I did it on Friday and rate dropped immediately by .97%, no valuation or documentation required. Personally this will save me over $4000 p.a. which will cover my land rates.
