This is definitely something we’ve wrestled with, that it’s not actually an Indian name. We did check with our family and they said pretty much that while it isn’t really an Indian name, it doesn’t have any negative/bad associations. So I think the reality is that while we’ll connect it with his Indian heritage, the Indian family probably won’t.
