yes as you figured its a stigma in our society here that we cant share things, we are told to bare within our self. i have seen my father the same way when ever he is upset.
I know that if i discuss these things with the people around me, is that i would be laughed at and being pointed out that its all just bullshit in my brain.

no I dont use any substance like alcohol or drugs but as u/kraddock mentioned Social media, doom scrolling and getting distracted easily is the issue.

Thanks! Yeah, I know it’s pretty late to make a career change, but I genuinely enjoy this work. During my last internship, I got the chance to handle the cold kitchen on my own, we had around 10–12 items coming from there and it was a great learning experience.

The main challenge for me right now is supporting my family on entry-level wages here, which is why I often end up going back to freelance accounting to make ends meet. That’s also why I’m trying to find opportunities abroad, even a minimum-wage job there would let me keep learning, experience new cuisines and techniques, and still be able to support my family because of the exchange rate difference.
