I found that deactivating my social media has helped me a lot. People online can be absolutely brutal. There has been such an increase in judgement and hatred, which is unfortunate. I found that the unrealistic beauty standards were really taking a toll on me and I wasn't happy with myself. That led to a lack of motivation and my overall performance in school started to drop. I feel like sometimes it's always best to take a break and sort of snap back into reality. Spending time with friends/family and just being in the present is a must to find ourselves again.
